It’s such as happiness that I can join in Makassar Backpacker and also its first trip during New Year 2010 in magnificent beach in Bulukumba but I forgot its name. Well, I’m from the other member but it similar to this site. This is positive activities around locals that should be and what we should do more affectively beside its tagged. Such as quarterly gathering which contain of any new issues among members like traveling, new spots whether inside or outside sulawesi or even out-bound invasion that could be shared together and there’s possibilities of study of any backgrounds so it could be more peacefully for ever-one. Thus, Exchange culture / experiences among locals / Outsiders are great I believe.

Something that still in my head after been to the village that’s for all of its society wearing black and called Kajang is why do they have to wearing all in black or probably there something knotted inside of and fully hope they will be keep of what they believed. And so why the tribe leader can be pictured-out??
First was told that we would come to Kajang communities in their land made me really shocked coz heard many stories according to the village is really harmful example if you come into the village and you do have something lewdly inside, you’ll pay of what you done.
**Simple but its kind of Strict**
Well, it’s what I got before I went to the village and see of what really inside of the tribe. After I been there with this MB community its totally different right in the corner of what I thought is where and when you do act nicely people will do more to you. Inside of Kajang they have 5 differences group of living which is located quite far from one to the other. Utilizing of Brown Coconut leaves as their home roof are still happening till today and also wattle as their housing floor and also wickerwork utilizing still in used.
They still keep of what the real social way of living which is Ancestral. The way of their living is all about fidelity of guarantee and everything is held with, beside they do have their own rules which is operated by any other competent of authorities which been pointed by the tribe’s leader called AMATOA.
Unhappily that we couldn’t stay for any longer minutes or hours we just came and had chat for a bit in AMATOA house in Language that I don’t speak but I could feel every single of aphorism and what’s the proverbial which is taken from the way of their living and what they can see from the truth and where the basics is start to be erased in people normal way of living community.
The village is bit uncommon for me been to their village is like been to ancients story where they hang their living from the jungle totally from the jungle where there’s no electricity cable were installed in the village and the village itself really far from what they called City
Whether old or young woman got to be in black and put something on their head while they hang something on their head such as food that’s taken from the wood. I have never had a clue like this coz this is new for me and Kajang is really interesting village to be seen if you come to bulukumba. For me KAJANG is Fresh air, Located in the really-really-really heart of the wood, way of living still ancient, kind of isolated, they still bathing in a small river or water source that flowed by the bamboo to other bamboo and finally to the woman or man’s traditional bath-room (JUNGLE), bit similar to Badui Tribes in West Java but badui got to be in white and Kajang got to be in black (Mr. Syam told me)
